Shopping in the Northern Quarter – There are interesting shops all over the Northern Quarter. Start your visit in Oldham Street and Tib Street before venturing further afield.
Manchester Craft Centre – The Manchester Craft Centre is located at 17 Oak Street in the Northern Quarter (off Tib Street) and is currently based in the area's old fish market. The centre includes artists studios, artists shops and a coffee shop. Highly recommended.
Afflecks (also known as Afflecks Palace) – Afflecks is an indoor market located at the junction of Church Street and Tib Street in the Northern Quareter. Aflecks contains a wide range of boutiques and independent shops over three floors, selling quirky and unusual clothes, ornaments and other quirky, trendy fashion items.
Manchester Buddhist Centre - The Manchester Buddhist Centre is located at 16 - 20 Turner Street, Manchester M4 1DZ, in the Northern Quarter. The Manchester Buddhist Centre includes two meditation halls - one available during Centre opening hours for personal meditation, a bookshop and the popular Earth vegetarian cafe.
