BT Paralympic World Cup 2009, Manchester, 20th to 25th May, 2009
The BT Paralympic World Cup 2009 will be held in Manchester from 20th to 25th May bringing in the region of 400 sports men and women together to compete in a wide range of basketball, cycling, swimming and athletics events.
Manchester, and the Greater Manchester area, is home to a wide range of regional, national and international sporting events. The Paralympic World Cup has been held annually in Manchester since 2005. The Paralympic World Cup 2009 will be held in Manchester in May. The World Cup is actually a series of events and it will see World Class Athletes compete in their chosen disciplines in this exciting and memorable multi-sport disability event.
The BT Paralympic World Cup 2009 is run in conjunction with the International Paralympic Committee and ParalympicsGB. The competitions sees paralympic sporting elite competing in the disciplines of athletics, swimming, track cycling and wheelchair basketball.

20th – 22nd May, National Cycling Centre, Manchester Velodrome
Swimming,
24th -25th May, Manchester Aquatics Centre, Manchester
Athletics,
24th May, Manchester Regional Arena, Sportcity
