EBL Final Fours Playoff Weekend 18th & 19th April 2009, Amaechi Basketball Centre, Manchester
Basketball is flourishing in the UK with the England Basketball League (EBL) claiming over 500 teams and more than 7000 registered players nationwide. England also has basketball teams playing at the international level.
On Saturday 18th Apr ‘09 and Sunday 19th Apr ‘09 Manchester will be host to English Basketball’s EBL Final Fours Playoff Weekend 2009, sponsored by Manchester City Council. The Playoff Semi Finals will be on the Saturday with the finals on the following day.
The playoffs will be as follows:-
18 April ‘09
12 & 2pm Playoff Semi Finals – Div 1 Women,
4 & 6pm Playoff Semi Finals – Div 1 Men,
19th April ‘09
11.00am Playoff Final – Div 2 Men,
1.15pm Playoff Final – Div 1 Women,
3.30pm Playoff Final – Div 1 Men,
The event, will be held at the Amaechi Basketball Centre, a modern 3-court Basketball Hall with sprung wooden floor. The Centre is in the grounds of Whalley Range 11 – 18 High School, Wilbraham Road, Whalley Range, M16 8GW. For further information about the competition visit MagicBasketball
